The Mobile Workers Guide (MWG) is a product of the research project “Labour mobility and community participation in the extractive industries: case studies in the Canadian north (LACE)”.

The Authors are Gertrude Saxinger and Susanna Gartler (University of Vienna, Austria & Austrian Polar Research Institute). The team has 10 years of research experience in the field of FIFO in Russia and Canada.

ReSDA, the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun and the Yukon College are co-publishers. The MWG was endorsed by the Yukon Chamber of Mines and the Centre for Northern Innovation in Mining. You can also find us on Facebook.
